When it comes to branding, Lethia Owens didn’t just walk the walk, she ran the race—and won. A teen mother who dropped out of high school, she was surrounded by people who told her she would never succeed, but she knew they were wrong. She went back to high school, won a Presidential scholarship to attend Albany University, and ultimately founded two successful companies and wrote five books.
A brand is defined as “…a promise. It tells prospects what they can expect when they deal with you.” In every aspect of her personal and professional life, Lethia fulfills her promise. Through her company, Lethia Owens International, she has directed the brand development, business development, and leadership branding and communications strategy for industry leading organizations such as The Boeing Company, State Farm, Energizer, Monsanto, Unigroup, IRS, Macrovision and Coca Cola.
